Discarded Treasures
Light Square Gallery – June exhibition

Exhibition:Thu 3 June – Thursday 24 June
Opening night: Wed 2 June, 6.00 pm

What do we treasure? What is discarded? What traces of our lives do we leave behind?

Delving into the world of discarded treasures, Amanda Lawler’s, printmaking and installation works will be exhibited at Light Square Gallery, TAFE SA Adelaide College of the Arts.

Referencing Salvation Jane, crocheted doilies and op shop discards, AC Arts graduate Ms Lawler, explores the distinction between the desired and the unwanted and the blurring of the boundaries between the two.

The work in this exhibition is a culmination of Ms Lawler’s Master of Visual Art Research.
