• An IELTS score of 5.5 General or equivalent and
• Satisfactory completion of Year 12 or overseas equivalent and
• Presentation of an adequate portfolio demonstrating experience.
You will be required to assemble and present a portfolio containing evidence of previous related experience in either professional or non-professional theatre, events or a related area. Evidence can be in many forms including programs with your name in the credits &/or cue sheets, running sheets, prompt scripts or other technical work for previous shows or events &/or letters of recommendation or references from professionals. |

Course Content
Plotting and rehearsing cues; calling the show; stage managing productions and events; organising bump ins & outs; collaborating with others to produce a project; team leadership; managing risk; technical, financial and workplace management; and industry work placement. Electives in lighting, sound or vision systems.
Expected Employment Outcome Example
Theatres, festivals and other live entertainment settings, as well as in film and television production studios and museums require qualified individuals to produce, stage or install plays, concerts, events and exhibitions. Students have access to fully equipped, state of the art facilities and graduates gain employment in occupations including lighting, sound, staging, vision systems technicians and as stage managers, costume-, set- and props-makers, and as scenic and costume designers.
