  • Applications and changes of preference to include this course for the first time will not be accepted after 29 October 2010. Applicants must attend an audition. Adelaide Centre for the Arts will send an audition registration pack to applicants following course application to SATAC.

Successful completion of this course provides you with the:
Bachelor of Dance Performance.

Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency within this Qualification will receive a Statement of Attainment.

Minimum Entry Requirements

Award Courses - SATAC application process

  • Satisfactory performance in an audition
and any one of:
  • Satisfactory completion of SACE Stage 2 (or equivalent)
  • Any Certificate III
  • Satisfactory achievement in the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT)

The thrust is professional training with widely experienced artists/teachers, and guest choreographers and directors from the highest echelons of the profession. Courses are presented that mirror professional industry practice. Students are empowered to develop informed professional attitudes and practices, and supported to achieve individual goals so that every student has the opportunity to successfully enter the professional performance space. Graduates of these courses will be able to work within the dance and acting fields of performing arts.
